FLOATING PORTABLE PUMP SET PPCA

Application:

The pump set is designed to be applied in emergency conditions by fire brigades for pumping water into the tanks of fire engines from natural sources as well as for pumping wather from flooded rooms and for emergency extinguishing. Furthermore, it can be uded in agriculture, in case of failures in water supply and sewerage piping systems, for efficient aeration of water tanks, etc.. With the pump set, polluted water with impurities of the grain size up to 15 mm can be pumped as well and min. height of wather level being 20 mm. It can also operated without liguid ("dry run"), without being seized or overheated.

Design:

The floating pump is of a light and compact design. It is driven by spark-ignition four -stroke air-cooled engines

- for lower parameters there is the HONDA GXV 120 (118 cm³, 2,9 kW)

- for higher parameters there are HONDA GXV 160 (163 cm³, 4 kW).

The pump is of centrifugal single-stage type, provided with a discharge branch of diameter 50 mm.

FLOATING SLUDGE COLLECTOR PPCA-S

Application:

PPCA-S is an attachement to the floating pump-set PPCA and it is intended for direction and pumping-off a thin film of a liguid on water level. This set is available and suitable for groups liquidating ecological disasters when it is necessary to "cut away" and pump a thin film off a water level (e.g. leaking-out a crude oil being localized by a downflow baffle).

Construction and functioning:

Floating sludge collector PPCA-S consists of a laminate vat and laminate colecting arms being coupled with a hinge and a locking clip allowing its tilting to a transport position, and further there is a tilting manipulation handle. With the aid of collecting arms a polluted liquid may be supplied to an overflow crest, that will "cut off" the thin film together with other contaminants and will supply it into the van, into which the pump inlet part of the pump-set PPCA enters. For setup of a height of a film that shall be pumped off and for the pump-set sliding over water level there is the manipulation handle available.
